National Scholarship Test (NST)

for ESE 2028 and GATE 2028

The primary goal of NST is to support deserving students from economically weaker sections by offering scholarships based on their performance. These scholarships provide access to our online or offline foundation courses for ESE, GATE & PSUs. Needless to say, these courses give aspirants an edge in these competitive examinations. Through NST, talented students can pursue their dream careers, overcoming financial barriers.

Procedure For Registration

  • Log on to www.madeeasy.in
  • Fill out the NST online registration form & pay the registration fee.
  • Login credentials will be mailed to your respective e-mail id.
  • Online proctored test details will be shared on your registered email id.

Important Dates

  • Solution Challenge: 25th Oct 2026 (05:00 PM) to 26th Oct 2026 (03:00 PM)

Technical Requirements for NST (Online Proctored Test)

  • Exam PC/Laptop with at least 2GB RAM (Recommended 4GB).
  • Working Webcam.
  • Working Mic.
  • Internet speed at least 2mbps (Mobile Hotspot not recommended).
  • Power backup.
  • Computers are to be logged in through the Admin user only.
  • Updated version of Google Chrome.

Note: Use a laptop or desktop with a functional camera and microphone for optimal performance. Do not attempt the test on mobile device.

Terms and Conditions

  • The scholarship will remain valid until 31st March 2027; therefore, interested students are advised to take admission on or before 30th November 2026.
  • The scholarship applies to both Offline and Live-Online GATE, GATE+ESE, and GATE+ESE+SES courses.
  • Both Ex-MADE EASY and Fresher students are eligible to appear for NST.
  • The result will not be evaluated, and the scholarship will be cancelled if any student is found guilty of malpractice by any means.
  • The scholarship is NOT applicable to Postal, Test Series, or any other Short-Term Classroom/Online Courses.
  • NST registration fee is non-refundable.
  • The number of scholarships offered is subject to management's decision based on the number of students appearing in NST, stream-wise cut-off marks, and other parameters.
  • MADE EASY management reserves the right to make any alterations as per the situation. The management's decision will be final and binding on everyone.

The National Scholarship Test (NST) is an initiative of MADE EASY to inspire and support deserving students by offering scholarships based on their performance. NST provides an opportunity to avail up to 100% scholarships on tuition fees for classroom courses and up to 60% scholarships on total fees for live online courses.

What are the eligibility criteria for NST?

B.E./B.Tech. passed-out or college-going students studying in 2nd/3rd/4th year can appear for the National Scholarship Test (NST).

What is the validity of the NST score?

The NST score will remain valid until 31st March 2027. Students should apply for admission before this deadline.

What is the syllabus for NST?

The test contains 60 questions covering your core technical subjects, Engineering Mathematics, and Reasoning & Aptitude.

What is the marking scheme for NST?

For each correct answer, 2 marks are awarded; for each incorrect answer, 0.66 marks are deducted.

The NST will be conducted in online mode.

Will NST be applicable to offline or live online courses?

NST will be applicable to both long-term offline and live-online foundation courses such as ESE, GATE, and ESE+GATE. It will not be applicable to recorded courses, tablet courses, or any other short-term offline/online courses.

The NST will be applicable to all long-term offline and live-online batches.

What is the last date to register for NST and what is the registration fee?

The last date to register is 20th October 2026. The registration fee is ₹100 for the online mode.

How can I make the payment for NST registration?

You can pay the NST registration fee via Net Banking, UPI, Debit Card, or Credit Card.

Can the NST scholarship be transferred to another candidate (friend or sibling)?

No, the NST scholarship cannot be transferred to another candidate. Only the candidate whose name appears on the NST merit list is eligible for the scholarship.

NST is applicable to the tuition fee for long-term offline courses and the total fee for live-online courses.

What will be the test pattern and difficulty level of questions?

The National Scholarship Test consists of 60 multiple-choice questions of medium difficulty level.

Will the fee be refunded if a candidate does not appear in NST?

The registration fee is non-refundable if a candidate does not appear for NST.

No. Students who take direct admission and NST-qualified students are admitted into the same batches.
