Procedure For Registration

  • Log on to www.madeeasy.in
  • Fill NST online registration form & pay the registration fee.
  • Login credentials will be mailed to your respective e-mail id.
  • Login & download your Admit Card.
  • Venue & timing will be mentioned on Admit Card.
  • Candidate should produce Admit Card along with valid Photo ID proof to enter the examination hall.

What is NST and when is it conducted?

National Scholarship Test (NST) is an initiative of MADE EASY to inspire and support thestudents of economically weaker sections. NST provides an opportunity to avail up to 100% scholarship in tuition fee for both live-online and classroom courses. NST will be conducted on 15th October 2023.

What is the eligibility criteria for NST?

B.E./B.Tech. passed out, and college-going students (2nd/3rd/4th year) are eligible to appear in NST.

What is the validity of NST?

The scholarship will remain valid until November 30, 2023. Hence, interested students are advised to apply for admission on or before 30th November 2023.

What is the syllabus and mode of examination?

NST will be conducted in offline mode across 41 cities. The test consists of 50 questions, and the syllabus is as follows:

  • Engineering Mathematics: 20 Questions.
  • Reasoning and Aptitude: 20 Questions
  • English: 10 Questions
Will NST be applicable on offline courses or live-online courses?

NST will be applicable on both offline or live-online courses like ESE+GATE+SES, ESE+GATE & GATE courses.

In which all batches NST is applicable?

The NST will be applicable to all the long-term offline and live-online batches that are commencing between 1st November 2023 to 31st March 2024, but interested students are advised to take admission on or before 30th November 2023.

Is NST applicable for Tablet/Recorded/Module/Test Series/Postal Courses?

NST will not be applicable for above-mentioned courses.

What is the last date to apply for NST and what is the registration fee?

The last date to register is 5th Octoberformance. National Scholarship Test will be conducted in Offline mode and students will get an opportunity to avail scholarship in Live-Online & Classroom courses. er 2023 and the registration fee is Rs. 200/-

How can I make the payment for NST registration? ?

You can make the payment for NST registration through Net Banking/UPI/Debit cards and Credit cards.

Can NST be transferred to another candidate (friend/sibling)?

The National Scholarship Test cannot be transferred to another candidate (friend/sibling). The candidate whose name appears on the NST merit list will only be eligible for the scholarship.

NST will be applicable on the total fee or tuition fee?

NST will be applicable on the total tuition fees only.

What will be the test pattern and difficulty level of questions?

The National Scholarship Test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions of mediocre difficulty level.

Will the fee be refunded if a candidate does not appear in NST?

The registration fee is non-refundable if a candidate does not appear in NST.

Will there be any separate batches for the NST-qualified students?

There are no separate batches for the NST-qualified students. The students who have taken direct admission and NST-qualified students will be admitted in the same batches.

Is a spot registration facility available at examination centres?

No. Spot registration facility is not available. Interested candidates have to register on or before 5th October 2023.

Is it possible to appear for NST through online mode?

NST will be conducted in 41 cities across the nation in OMR-based offline mode only.

How to prepare for NST?

NST is conducted to test logical thinking and mathematical abilities in the form of multiple-choice questions. The syllabus consists of Engineering Mathematics, English, Reasoning, and Aptitude as per GATE exam standards. Referring to and practicing previous-year GATE papers will be highly beneficial.

Is it possible to change the exam city after the registration?

Change in exam city will not be possible; hence, it’s advisable to fill out the registration form carefully.

I am an Ex. MADE EASY student. Will I be eligible to get both the EX. MADE EASY student discount and the NST?

No. Ex. MADE EASY student can avail for either student discount or the NST; whichever is higher will be applicable.
